We're dedicated to making various forms and levels of T'ai Chi available to everyone.
- Classes are offered in several Yang-style forms: the 108 long form (starting with the 19 form), 24 short form, 32 sword, 4 directions and 2-person forms for students at all levels of experience.
- For those with complex health issues affecting mobility, we offer T'ai Chi for Health Challenges (virtually or on a weekly drop-in basis if offered at the Centre).
- Qigong classes may be offered in certain scheduled sessions, depending on the demand and the public health circumstances.
- We also offer occasional courses and workshops led by friends in the greater T'ai Chi and Qigong community and by our own staff. Subject areas have included T'ai Chi Fan, Sword and Spear, Push Hands, Shibashi Qigong to name a few.
- Several of our instructors offer classes in the community at retirement homes, the YMCA and London's Spectrum Program.
The Phoenix T'ai Chi Centre was founded in London, Ontario, Canada by Gloria Jenner in 1988. Gloria has been studying T'ai Chi and Qigong since 1980. Gloria and her staff teach Yang Style T'ai Chi, T'ai Chi Sword and Qigong.
